Born and raised in southwest Virginia, Elizabeth Anderson moved to New York City and graduated from The City College of New York in 1969.  She then came to North Carolina and began in real estate as a broker/owner of Heartwood Realty in 1975.  She has specialized in land sales and development with interest and experience in passive solar design, conservation and environmental restrictions.  Elizabeth was a founding member of the Chatham County Habitat for Humanity and served for ten years on the Board handling land and home sales. She enjoys the diversity of real estate work and helping Heartwood Realty be a firm that tries always to be thorough and conscientious.
