Born and raised in Medina, Ohio, in 1982 Katy came to Chapel Hill to attend the University of North Carolina. After graduation, Katy moved to Charlotte and began a banking career that would last 15 years and include successful experience running busy branch offices, providing families with investment advice, and managing small business accounts. She returned to the Triangle area in 1994, where she met her husband Roland, and in 1999 they chose to move to Chatham County to begin raising a family, which now includes their son Emerson and daughter Hannah. After a one year detour in 2005 to live in the South of France, Katy decided it was time to begin a new career. She chose real estate for the chance to use her financial experience and her ability to truly listen to help people achieve their dreams. Real estate is probably the biggest investment you will ever make, and Katy and will be there every step of the way.
